Michael Vanthourenhout (born December 10, 1993 ) is a Belgian cyclist .

Career

Vanthourenhout rode for the Belgian team BKCP-Powerplus from 2012 , before moving to the Sunweb-Napoleon Games Cycling team in 2014 . In 2013 he became European champion in the U23 cyclocross class and also won the silver medal in the U23 class at the 2014 cyclocross world championships . In 2013 and 2014 he won the U23 World Cup races in Valkenburg . In October 2014, Vanthourenhout clinched his first victory in an elite class at the Kermiscross in Ardooie .
