Michael Walther (soccer player)
Michael Walther (born July 18, 1960 ) is a German soccer goalkeeper. He completed a total of 40 games in the GDR major league for Halleschen FC .
Career
For the 1980/81 season he rose to the first team of Halleschen FC . On the 25th matchday he made his professional debut in the GDR Oberliga , in a 2-1 win against FC Hansa Rostock . After four seasons he left Halle (Saale) and moved to BSG Stahl Thale . He ended his career with TSG Markkleeberg from the GDR league .
