Mischa Martini (* 1956 in Trier , pseudonym for Michael Weyand ) is a German journalist , publisher and author .

Life

After completing his internship and starting his career as a journalist, Michael Weyand, born in 1956, runs a publishing house in Trier with a focus on cultural and historical topics from the Moselle region. Under the pseudonym Mischa Martini he writes detective novels and lets Detective Inspector Bock go hunting for criminals on the left and right of the Moselle. He also publishes short stories in various anthologies and wrote the Mitrate crime thriller Mörderische Auslese (Deutscher Theater-Verlag, Wiesbaden), which is also performed in the Netherlands (Toneel Uitgeverij Vink, Alkmaar). Martini is a member of the Association of German Writers and the Syndikat (Association of German crime authors). He lives near Trier.
