Michael Wolf is a German actor and director .

Life

Wolf grew up in Müllheim . From 1983 to 1987 he studied acting and directing at the “Renato Cibolini” drama school in Basel . Wolf gained his first experience as assistant director to Ephraim Kishon and Michael Hausthar .

For six years, Wolf wrote some of the scripts for the television series Good Times, Bad Times . For the theater he developed the plays "When Helga comes", "Knietief im Dispo", "42" and "Until that death",

Wolf is a founding member of the improvisational theater " Die Gorillas ". He also coaches various improvisational theater groups and has developed several game formats. In addition to his work as a director for theater and television productions, Wolf teaches as a guest lecturer at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig .

Today Wolf lives in Berlin and France.

Business training

In his improvisation trainings, Wolf primarily focuses on the following topics: dealing with processes of change, developing and intensifying team processes, the courage to fail positively, behavior in meeting and lecture situations, discovering and using collective potential.

Training for improvisational theater groups

Wolf also supports and accompanies improvisational theater groups that are just beginning or want to develop further. He attaches great importance to " storytelling " in particular . He has coached groups such as “ Die Springmaus ” in Bonn, “ Das Placebotheater ” in Münster and “ Das Eidgenössische Improvisationstheater ” in Zurich.

In addition, Wolf deals with the development and creation of figures and characters ( figure work ) in his trainings .

Another focus of his training is the subject of "enduring silence". It is about reducing the number of words spoken on stage.
