Michaela Bercu

Michaela Bercu (born February 28, 1967 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli model and entrepreneur.

Life

Bercu was born as the only child to Romanian parents who emigrated to Israel. Her mother was an architect and her father was a pharmacist.

In her youth she was discovered as a model by the photographer Menachem Oz. She was then signed by the Elite Model Management agency .

In 1988 she appeared on the cover of American Vogue Magazine. She then appeared in numerous fashion magazines and in the campaigns of several cosmetic companies.

In 1990 she posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue , and in 1992 she played a supporting role in the horror film Bram Stoker's Dracula .

She moderated the Kdam Eurovision 1995, the Israeli preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest .

Bercu is married to businessman Ron Zuckerman and has four children. After her career she studied therapeutic theater and made a video podcast called My Michaela in which she presented cultural and social projects in Israel. In 2018 she launched the Tribu app , which is intended to facilitate and promote social neighborhood help.
