Kdam Eurovision is the Israeli preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . He has over the years to the most-watched entertainment show of public service broadcasting Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation in Israel.
history
Between 1973 and 1977 Israel's representative at Eurovision was chosen by an internal jury, in 1978 and 1979 the winner of the Israeli Choir Festival was selected to represent Israel at the ESC.
In 1981 it was decided to stop holding the festival and to set up the Kdam Eurovision competition.
