Elite model management
Elite Model Management is a model agency and was founded in 1972 in Paris by John Casablancas and Alain Kittler . Elite accompanied the careers of several hundred mannequins and photo models on five continents. Elite Model Look is one of the most famous modeling competitions.
history
The parent company Elite World SA, formerly listed in Frankfurt, is based in Luxembourg (the share was taken off the Frankfurt stock exchange in 2014). The management board of the listed holding company Elite World SA currently consists of Bernard Hennet, Andrew Gleeson and Thomas Röggla. The largest single shareholder is Thomas Röggla with 28.1%. The management board as a whole holds over 50% of the shares in Elite World SA
The business activity of the Elite Group is divided into the three main business areas Elite Model Agencies, Elite License Business and Elite Model Competition. Elite operates one of the largest and best-known networks of model agencies worldwide under the name Elite Model Management . The modeling agencies are partly owned by the holding company, partly by franchise companies.
In the Elite Licensing division, Elite grants licenses for the use of the word / image trademarks held by Elite for the design, manufacture and sale of certain products and product lines.
The elite model competition Elite Model Look Contest is now the world's largest young model competition with over 350,000 female candidates from 60 countries every year.
