Michaelskirche in Metterzimmer

The Protestant Michaelskirche in Metterzimmer , a suburb of Bietigheim-Bissingen , is one of the Art Nouveau churches in Württemberg .

history

Built by Heinrich Dolmetsch within just one year of 1906 , the church was consecrated on December 6, 1906. A lightning strike in the building of the previous church ended years of disagreement about a new building. The plans from 1905 had the church in Lehrensteinsfeld as a model . The execution was based on the Eisenach regulation .
