Mikhail Abramowitsch Trilisser
Mikhail Trilisser ( Russian Меер (Михаил) Абрамович Трилиссер even sea Abramovich Trilisser, Mikhail Moskvin * 1. April 1883 in Astrakhan , † 2. February 1940 in Moscow ) was a Russian - Soviet revolutionary, politician and intelligence chief . From May 1922 to October 1929 he was head of the foreign department of the OGPU and from 1926 to 1930 deputy chairman of the OGPU.
Trilisser came from a Jewish family. From 1920 to 1921 he was secretary of the Oblast Committee of the Communist Party of Russia in Amur Oblast , which was assigned to the Far Eastern Republic against his resistance .
Mikhail Trilisser was a member of the leadership of the Communist International under the pseudonym Mikhail Alexandrowitsch Moskvin . Since 1935 he was a member of the executive committee of the Executive Committee of the Communist International (EKKI) and a candidate for the EKKI secretariat. In the ECCI, Trilisser was responsible for the control of the Spanish Communist Party . As part of the “ Great Terror ” he was arrested on November 23, 1938 and shot on February 2, 1940.
