Mikhail Alexandrovich Samarsky ( Russian Михаил Александрович Самарский , English transcription Mikhail Alexandrovich Samarsky; born August 15, 1996 in Rostov-on-Don ) is a Russian writer and blogger .

Life

Samarski has lived in Moscow since 1997 . Between 2003 and 2007 he attended Moscow School No. 1084 and then until 2012 School No. 1239. Until 2013 he was a student at Day School No. 1 at Lomonosov University . In 2013 he enrolled at Lomonosov University in the Department of Political Science.

family

  • Father: Alexander Wassiljewitsch Samarski (born 1959) - playwright, screenwriter, poet.
  • Mother: Anna Mikhailovna Samarskaja (nee Amelina) (born 1971) - writer, author of detective novels under the pseudonym Anna Arkan.

Literary work

At the age of twelve he wrote his first book, the short story Auf der Schaukel Between the Hills , which was published a year later and did not go unnoticed by the media. In the opinion of the critic of the Oktjabr Jekaterina Bosina magazine, the story does not contain any “significant revelations” for adult readers, but Auf der Schaukel is by no means “children's chatter”, but distinguishes Misha Samarski from the majority of writing peers. He continued his literary work with the publication of the story Rainbow for a Friend and other books. The “Exmo” publishing house created the special book series The Experiences of an Unusual Dog for the new author . In an article published in the summer of 2013, the Newa magazine ranks Samarski among the young prose writers most read by the (Russian) public.

Social work and charity

Mikhail Samarski began his charity work in 2010 with the establishment of the informal program Lebendige Herzen , in which he and his friends and acquaintances helped blind children: he published audio books, published books in Braille , etc., purchased various devices for blind and visually impaired children . Russian entrepreneurs, politicians and actors provided support for the program. The businessman Andrei Ryabinsky proposed to enter the official fund for helping the blind, living hearts . On October 12, 2012, as a result of Mikhail Samarski's program, the Living Hearts charity fund was created. Anna Mikhailovna Samarskaya, Mikhail's mother, is co-founder and chairwoman of the fund.

On October 9, 2011, at a meeting of Russian President DA Medvedev with Russian bloggers, Mikhail Samarsky raised the question of the availability of the Internet for the visually impaired: Braille displays for computers are inaccessible for most people with visual impairment because of the high prices and displays that provided free of charge to the children during their education must be reimbursed after the end of the education. This issue was then followed up and Medvedev recommended that the right of children to keep technical tools after their education be enshrined in law.
