Mikhail Artemjewitsch Kuznetsov

Mikhail Artemjewitsch Kuznetsov ( Russian Михаил Артемьевич Кузнецов ; born February 25, 1918 in Bogorodsk , RSFSR - August 23, 1986 in Moscow , USSR ) was a Soviet theater and film actor.

He became known for his roles in "Ivan the Terrible" Part 1 (1944) and Part 2 (1958) by Sergei Michailowitsch Eisenstein as Fyodor Basmanow , Sprengte Fesseln (1951) and The Blue Booklet (1964).

biography

Kuznetsov was born on February 25, 1918 in Bogorodsk (since 1930 Noginsk ). He graduated from the Acting Department of the State Opera and the Stanislavsky Drama Studio in 1941. From 1950 to the mid-1960s, he worked as a full-time actor in the Kiev Film Studio . Kuznetsov starred in a total of 54 films. He died in Moscow on August 23, 1986. The urn with the actor's ashes was buried in the 23rd section of the Vvedenskoye Cemetery in Moscow.

Honors

He was an Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1955), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1964) and the winner of the Stalin Prize of the First Degree (1952).
