Mikhail Kletcherov ( Bulgarian Михаил Клечеров ; English Michail Kletcherov ; born December 3, 1982 in Bansko ) is a Bulgarian biathlete .
Michail Kletscherow has been practicing biathlon since 1999 and has been a member of the Bulgarian national team since then. The student from Bansko is trained by Yuri Mitev . He made his debut in the biathlon world cup in 1999 in an individual (101st) in Hochfilzen . In 2000 he started for the first time at the Junior World Championships, in which he participated annually until 2003. Since 2003 he has finally participated in the world championships annually. He has not yet achieved any outstanding results. His best result in an international competition was eighth place in the individual at the European Championships in 2002 in Kontiolahti . For the first time in the World Cup points Kletscherow ran in an individual in Lahti in 2007 , where he finished 30th. His special skills lie in the target practice, which is why he does better in races with many shooting bouts than in races with few.
In 2010 Mikhail Kletscherow took part in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. In addition to the 16th place with the Bulgarian men's relay, his best result was 44th in the pursuit.
