Mikhail Schubin
Michail Schubin ( Russian Михаил Шубин , international transcription: Mikhail Shubin; born July 28, 1988 in Leningrad ) is a Russian triathlete. In September 2007 he was awarded the title of Master of Sports (international class).
Career
At the Russian State Championships 2010 in Penza , Schubin was eighth on the Olympic distance (U23). In 2010, Schubin did not take part in the Russian Cup, and his name does not appear in the official FTR ranking (Рейтинг). In 2009 he was ranked 22nd in the Cup and 21st in the ranking (both in the elite category).
Since 2004, Schubin has regularly achieved top ten placements in the junior class (Юниоры) at Russian championships, in the ranking or in the cup: in 2004 he was number 10 in the ranking (Рейтинг).
Team European Champion Triathlon Juniors 2005
In July 2005 he was in Greece with the Russian team junior European champion in the relay. In 2006 he finished sixth in the Summer Spartakiad and fourth in the Duathlon State Championship. In 2007 he was sixth in the Russian Triathlon Championships and second in the Grand Final of the Russia Cup. In 2008 he switched to the elite category and was 13th at the Duathlon State Championships.
In 2010 Schubin also took part in a number of international non-ITU competitions, in France for example in Le Mans (July 4, 2010), Aiguillon sur Mer (July 25, 2010) or St. Jean de Monts (July 26, 2010), where he finished 7th, 3rd and 17th. In St. Jean de Monts he already competed for the Club La Rochelle Triathlon , which he has since represented in France. Schubin's most important triathlon in France was the Triathlon de Paris (July 18, 2010), in which he narrowly missed the bronze medal.
In 2011 Schubin also started for La Rochelle Triathlon and continued to take part in non-ITU triathlons, e.g. B. the Triathlon de Alpiarça (March 20, 2011) in Portugal, where he finished 25th.
Schubin lives in Saint Petersburg and, like Natalja Sergejewna Schljachtenko , represents the all-Russian association Dynamo in Russia . Since 2011 he no longer appears in international competitions.
