Michal Šeda (born October 15, 1982 in Pardubice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Košice in the Slovakian Extraliga since November 2009 .
Career
Michal Šeda began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Pardubice , where he was active until 2003. At the same time, he made his debut in professional ice hockey in the 2001/02 season as a loan player for HC VCES Hradec Králové in the first division , the second Czech division. There he played from 2003 to 2006 for HC Prostějov and again for HC VCES Hradec Králové. For the 2006/07 season the defender returned to HC Pardubice, with whose professional team from the Czech extra league he was runner-up straight away. In the following years his ice age decreased steadily and he was used more often in the second division as a loan player, where he played for his former club HC VCES Hradec Králové and HC Chrudim .
After Šeda had started the 2009/10 season in Pardubice, he moved to HC Košice from the Slovak Extra League . With his new club, he won the national championship title straight away . He was able to repeat this success with Košice in the 2010/11 season .
