Michal Kolomazník (born July 20, 1976 in Brno ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

During his youth, the striker and left-footed Kolomazník played for the Czech club FC Boby Brno (until 1991 under the name Zbrojovka Brno), where he also made his professional debut in 1993. He was then loaned to SKP Znojmo in 1995 and in the winter break of 1996 for half a year to Slavia Uherské Hradiště , before moving to FK Teplice after three more years with Boby Brno in 1999 .

In the 2003/04 season Kolomazník was brought to the 2nd Bundesliga by SSV Jahn Regensburg . Despite his good performance at Jahn, he could not prevent the relegation of the traditional Upper Palatinate club. The next season, Michal Kolomazník moved to TSV 1860 Munich , where he was the top scorer of the 2004/05 season with 15 goals. He was very popular with fans of TSV thanks to his 15 goals in the first season for TSV. After a small period of weakness at the end of the 2004/05 season, he had impressively reported back in the first two games of the 2005/06 season, but was no longer part of the regular team due to a complicated injury and only scored six goals this season. On March 8, 2006 he had to undergo a groin operation, which is why he could not play a game in the second half of the season.

After his contract expired in 2006, he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching , where he received no new contract in June 2008. The striker then moved to the Czech second division club FK Dukla Prague . Due to a meniscus damage Kolomazník ended his career in early March 2010 after he had played the last competitive game for Dukla Prague in the 2nd division in August 2009.

Kolomazník completed three senior international matches for the Czech Republic .
