Michal Snunit
Michal Snunit ( Hebrew מיכל סנונית; * 1940 in En haChoresch , Palestine (League of Nations mandate ) is a poet and writer .
Life
Michal Snunit was born in 1940 in the kibbutz En haChoresch south of Hadera , which her parents who emigrated from Belgium founded in Palestine, and now lives in Tel Aviv . She studied literature and drama at Tel Aviv University and worked with children in the kibbutz's agriculture. Then she worked as a journalist for a daily newspaper. From 1975 to 1979 she was the editor of a weekly magazine.
In addition to her books, she has written articles for children's literature and lyrics for children's musicals. Michal Snunit is known for her poems and stories for young and old.
