Michel'le (1990)

Michel'le Toussaint (* 1965 ) is an American contemporary R&B singer who was active from the late 1980s to the late 1990s.

Career

In 1989 she released her debut album Michel'le on Ruthless Records . The album was created by Eazy-E , DJ Yella and their then partner Dr. Dre produces. It peaked at number 35 on the Billboard 200 and sold 1.5 million copies. A total of five singles were released from the album, all of which hit the charts. The most successful single was No more Lies , which came in at number 7. She followed Dr. Dre, with whom she has a son, with Death Row Records , the relationship ended when Dre split from the label in 1996. Michel'le released a second album Hung Jury on Death Row in 1998 , this time produced by Suge Knight , with whom she also has a son. The second album could not build on the success of the first. In 2003 she released a song on the soundtrack to the film Dysfunctional Family .
