Michel F. Bolle (born April 24, 1970 in Bern , Canton of Bern ) is a former Swiss volleyball player , volleyball trainer, sports official and today's expert in the areas of industrial fittings, leadership and team building.
life and career
Bolle grew up as the son of an entrepreneurial family in Hedingen and Kerzers . As an athlete, he came to volleyball at VBC Kerzers at the age of 14 through football and cycling. After finishing secondary school in Kerzers, he received an offer from VBC Leysin (National League A). With Leysin he won the championship title three times in a row (1988–1990), and won the Swiss Cup four times (1988–1991). From 1991 to 1997 Michel F. Bolle played at Lausanne UC , with whom he won four other championship titles (1992-1995) and another cup victory (1995). Michel Bolle was also active in the Swiss national volleyball team for several years . 2000 Michel F. Bolle ended his playing career and became active as a coach at VBC Ecublens.
Bolle trained among others the NLA teams from Lausanne UC, Seat Volley Naefels, VBC Biel-Bienne and TSV Düdingen volleyball. His greatest successes include numerous gold and silver medals at junior Swiss championships, a bronze and silver medal with Lausanne UC in the championship as well as the silver medal at the Supercup and reaching the 1/8 finals in the Europa Cup with Seat Volley Naefels. Various engagements as a trainer at the Swiss Volley Talents Schools Lausanne, Jona and Bern as well as in the regional teams of the cantons of Vaud and Jura have made Michel F. Bolle an experienced volleyball instructor and motivator.
From 1994 to 2010 Michel F. Bolle was national coach of the men's national team at Swiss Volley. His successes with the national team included victories against France (2006 in Biel), Russia (Universiade 2007, Thailand) and Germany (Universiade 2009, Belgrade) as well as eleventh place at the Universiade in Belgrade.
Michel F. Bolle has been a youth and sports expert since 2007 and has made a significant contribution to the training of young trainers in recent years.
On December 1, 2011, Michel F. Bolle founded the Swiss Volleyball Coaches Association and is its president (SVCA).
In 2016 Michel F. Bolle published his first book "Nature Hits Back" with Tredition Deutschland. Between 2016 and 2018 Michel F. Bolle published another 5 books. "The Art of Successful Leadership", "100 Power Quotes", "Travelers Trilogy (English)," 100 Power Quotes "and" Wrath of Nature. All books are published by Tredition Germany and Tredition USA.
