Michel Ménard

Michel Ménard (born May 20, 1961 in Saint-Berthevin-la-Tannière , Mayenne department ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2007 .

After studying to be a teacher in Nantes , Ménard worked in various professions in the social field. In 1986 he joined the Parti socialiste and in 1995 entered the Nantes city council on the list of the later Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault . In 2001 he also moved to the General Council of the Loire-Atlantique department . In 2004 he was elected Vice President. In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he ran in the fifth constituency of the Loire-Atlantique department and entered the National Assembly. In 2012 he was re-elected.
