Michel Pharaon

Michel Pharaon ( Arabic ميشال فرعون, DMG Mīšāl Firʿaun ; * 1959 in Beirut ) is a politician from Lebanon . He has been Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Lebanese government since July 19, 2005 under Prime Minister Fouad Siniora .

Life

Michel Pharaon is a member of the Lebanese National Assembly and is a member of its parliament for the Movement for the Future .

He graduated from the Université Saint-Joseph with a degree in economics in 1980 before earning an MBA from the Sorbonne in 1981 . He is chairman of the boards of several companies, including the insurance company Mednet and Commerce du Levant magazine . He is Vice President of Ruphayil Pharaon and Sons and Pharaon Holding . He is the head of the wealthy and influential Greek Catholic family Pharaon.

On November 21, 2006, he was assassinated in his office, which failed.
