Michele Gobbi
Michele Gobbi (born August 10, 1977 in Vicenza ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Michele Gobbi started his career in 2000 with the cycling team Mobilvetta Design . In 2002 he moved to the Italian racing team De Nardi . There he was able to celebrate his first successes a year later. First he won a stage at the Giro del Trentino and then the two one-day races Gran Premio Industria e Commercio Artigianato Carnaghese and Trofeo Città di Castelfidardo . The next season he won the Giro del Friuli . In 2005 Gobbi drove for Domina Vacanze and since 2006 he has been driving for the German-Italian ProTour - Team Milram .
On October 8, 2006, Gobbi had a serious fall at the GP Beghelli 17 kilometers from the finish and was taken to a hospital in Bologna with life-threatening head injuries .
