Michihiro Tsuruta ( Japanese 鶴 田 道 弘 , Tsuruta Michihiro ; born January 4, 1968 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Tsuruta learned to play soccer on the school team at Chukyo University Chukyo High School and the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Toyota Motors in 1990 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Toyota Motors became Nagoya Grampus Eight . For the club he completed 51 first division games. In 1995 he moved to the second division Vissel Kobe . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of 1996 he ended his career as a football player. He then played with Ventforet Kofu (2000).
