Micromovie Award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Micromovie (spelling: micromovie) was a film ideas competition of the television station Das Vierte , which was launched in 2006. The idea of the Micromovie Award was to give non-professional filmmakers the opportunity to have their ideas and stories professionally implemented.

The prerequisite for the participants was to submit a story in the form of a script , storyboard or a written narrative . Two things had to be considered: The participant was not allowed to be a professional author and the participating contribution had to be narrated on film in 100 seconds. An annually changing jury made up of prominent actors, directors and leaders from the media landscape selected the ten best ideas. These were produced by a production company on behalf of Das Vierte . The winner was selected from the ten finalists through a public vote.
