Revised version of the Microprofessor

Microprofessor I (MPF 1) is a single-board computer that was launched on the market in 1981. The computer was manufactured by the Taiwanese company Multitech (now Acer ). It is probably one of the longest-selling computers that has not been changed since it went on sale. The MPF I was an easy to use training system for the Z80 - microprocessor from Zilog with a clock frequency of 1.79 MHz. The computer was equipped with a RAM of 2 KB (expandable up to 4 KB) and a ROM of 2 KB (expandable up to 8 KB). The successors to the computer were Microprofessor Ib (which also had a BASIC- ROM and, as an alternative to assembler, allowed programming in this high-level language), Microprofessor II and Microprofessor III .
