Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio (Microsoft RDS, short MRDS ) is a with uniform interfaces provided, universal, graphical integrated development environment for simulating and controlling of robots as, for example, fischertechnikclub or Lego are available. In addition to the familiar .NET programming languages, programming can also be carried out using flow diagrams ( data flow plans ). For this purpose Microsoft created the graphical programming language Microsoft Visual Programming Language (VPL), which is intended for beginners in programming who already have basic knowledge, e.g. B. on variables and program logic. However, this programming language is not limited to beginners alone, but is also interesting for advanced programmers when it comes to developing prototypes or program codes quickly. Although the toolbox is tailored to the development of robot applications, it is not limited to this and can also be used for other applications.
