The Middle Cascade Glacier is located in the Wenatchee National Forest in Washington state north of Spider Mountain and east of Mount Formidable . The Middle Cascade Glacier ends in a remarkable ice fall that tapers and could eventually separate an upper part from a lower part of the glacier. The Middle Cascade Glacier receded 260 meters between 1979 and 2005. The smaller Spider Glacier is located immediately southeast of the Middle Cascade Glacier.
