Midsommarkransen is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Midsommarkransen district of the same name . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 5,400 commuters get on and off here.
The station was put into operation on April 5, 1964 as the 54th station of the Tunnelbana, when the first section of the Röda linjen between T-Centralen and Fruängen was inaugurated. The platforms are about 17 meters underground. The station is located between the stations Liljeholmen and Telefonplan . It is about five kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
