The Midtryggen ( Norwegian for Middle Ridge ) is a completely icy and snow-covered mountain ridge on the West Antarctic Peter I Island . In the eastern section of the Storfallet it extends southwest of the Austryggen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1987.
