Ceiling painting in the entrance

The tenement house at Krenkelstrasse 7 in Dresden is a stately, free-standing building in the Striesen district . The listed building, built in 1904, has three floors. The plastered façade is arranged symmetrically, with the walls for the differently designed windows made of sandstone . While triplet windows can be seen on the first floor , there are twin windows on the second floor .

In the entrance , the wall area is characterized by an imitation marble coffering, a figural ceiling painting can be seen. Edged on the narrow sides by imitation mosaics, a seated mother with four children is shown. The stairwell shows a marble base accompanied by a broad Art Nouveau ornament. The soffits of the stairs were decorated with landscape medallions and Art Nouveau decor. An ornamental glass window shows a landscape with sunrise in different shades of green.
