Miguel Alatorre , also known by the nickname Venado ( Spanish for deer ), was a Mexican football player .

Life

Miguel Alatorre played early in his career for the Guadalajara- based Club Nacional in the Liga de Occidente .

For the 1922/23 season he moved to the military sports club Guerra y Marina . After the team, playing under the name Son-Sin, fell apart a year later due to the temporary departure of its initiator Colonel Aguirre (who has since been promoted to general), Alatorre joined the Club Deportivo Guadalajara in 1924 and soon played in because of his good performance the national team from Jalisco , which in 1926 and 1928 played some friendly matches against clubs from the capital . When General Aguirre was back in the capital , he reactivated his football project under the new name Club Deportivo Marte , brought back many former players and added some talents from the Jalisco team ; “Venada” Alatorre also belonged to this group of people. In this way, Aguirre put together a strong team that won the championship of the 1928/29 season when they entered the capital league in 1928.

In the early 1930s Alatorre still played at Club Leonés , which was only represented in the capital league for two years (from 1931 to 1933).
