Club Leonés
Club Leonés was a Mexican football club from Mexico City that was represented in the Mexican capital league in the seasons 1931/32 and 1932/33 .
history
In their first season 1931/32, the team of the Leonés won only two of 14 games and was able to record a draw. With a goal balance of 25:52, she finished last behind the military sports club Marte .
In the following season 1932/33 the championship - unique in the history of the Primera Fuerza - was held in two seasons, which had the function of a first and second division. The four best-placed teams of the previous year (Masters Atlante , Necaxa , Asturias and América ) played in the higher relay, as did the re-entered Real Club España , while the four teams that had occupied places 5 to 8 last year ( Germania , Sporting , Marte and the Leonés), played together with the again participating Club México in the second season. The Leonés were able to win the second season unbeaten (four wins and four draws from eight games) and entered the relegation against the last placed of the first season, Asturias (because of the dissolution of the seasons in retrospect, but no longer necessary). The Asturianos clearly prevailed with 6: 2 and 9: 3.
The Leonés withdrew from the league at the end of the 1932/33 season and were probably dissolved immediately.
