Miguel Ángel Almazán Quiroz (born May 6, 1982 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican soccer player .

Almazán learned to play football at Deportivo Toluca , for which he made his debut on April 20, 2002 against CD Cruz Azul in a Mexican first division game . As a defender of the "red devils" he only came into play sporadically at first, only made three appearances to win the 2002 championship in the Apertura and was also active for many years in the second team Atlético Mexiquense . In a three-year rhythm (2005 and 2008), Toluca won two more Apertura championships, to which Almazán made slightly larger contributions as a supplementary player with eight and twelve games respectively.

In 2010 the defensive all-rounder was awarded to Club Tijuana . With the new club, he was promoted from the second-rate Liga de Ascenso shortly after his arrival , but after a total of 24 appearances in Apertura 2011 and Clausura 2012, he stayed with the clubs' great success in Apertura 2012, when the Mexican championship (in the final against Toluca) was completely left out. For the 2013 Apertura he returned to his home club in Toluca. It was only rarely used there. At the beginning of 2016 he was awarded to Celaya FC for six months and then ended his career.
