Miguel Tendillo Belenguer (born February 1, 1961 in Moncada ) is a former Spanish football player .

Player career

Tendillo began his career with FC Valencia . In the period from 1978 to 1986 the defender won the Spanish Cup once and in 1980 he won the European Cup Winners' Cup and the European Supercup . Tendillo was the captain of Los Ches in the final and played through. In 1986 he moved to Real Murcia , where he only stayed for a year. From 1987 to 1991 he was under contract with Real Madrid . He won his first Spanish championship title in Madrid in 1988, with two more to follow. He also won the Spanish Cup once and the Spanish Supercup three times. In 1991 he went to FC Burgos and let his career end there until 1993.

Internationally, Tendillo made 27 appearances for Spain and scored one goal. He took part in the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy (Spain eliminated in the group stage) and in the 1982 World Cup in his own country, where the Spaniards were eliminated in the second group stage.
