Miguel Yamuni Tabush

Miguel Yamuni Tabush (born November 27, 1915 in San José ; † May 2, 2013 ) was a Costa Rican diplomat.

Life

Miguel Yamuni Tabush was the son of Mercedes Tabush and Bejos M. Yamuni, who founded a trade in goods and spirits in Lebanon in 1901 . He is married to Daisy Tabush Fadul. Tabush studied business administration at Assumption University (Windsor, Ontario) and economics at the Detroit Business Institute . He completed his pilot training at the Escuela Nacional de Aviación .

In 1953 he was spokesman for the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce. In 1956 he became Lebanese honorary consul in San José. He joined Costa Rica's foreign service in 1960. From 1963 to 1966 he was ambassador to Beirut and from 1964 he was also accredited to Cairo , Aman , Kuwait City and Damascus . From 1972 to 1976 he was ambassador to Madrid and, from 1973, simultaneously accredited to Cairo and Rabat. From March 23, 1974 to 1981 he was accredited in Tunis. From 1979 to 1981 he was ambassador to Kuwait City and from 1974 to Riyadh ( Saudi Arabia ) from 1980 to Beirut and Abu Dhabi ( United Arab Emirates ) and from 1982 to 1985 in Nairobi ( Kenya ). From 1986 to 1989 he was ambassador to Panama City . From 1989 to 1990 he was Ambassador to the Court of St James’s .
