Miguel Zerolo Aguilar (born February 26, 1957 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife ) is a Spanish politician of the Coalición Canaria (CC). He was Senator for the Canary Islands , from 1995 to 2011 Mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and from 2003 to 2011 Member of Parliament for Tenerife in the Parliament of the Canary Islands.

During his tenure as mayor, he was involved in a real estate scandal involving land on Playa de Las Teresitas , in which tens of millions of euros were put aside at the expense of the municipality and private property owners. For this he was sentenced in April 2017 to seven years in prison and, together with other defendants, to repay over 60 million euros to the city of Santa Cruz. He appealed against this judgment to the Supreme Court. While prosecutors believe the money was shipped overseas, Zerolo claimed in 2017 that he was completely destitute. On April 1, 2019, Miguel Zerolo Aguilar finally went to prison.
