Mikael Uhre (born September 30, 1994 ) is a Danish football player . He will play for Brøndby IF from July 1st, 2018 .

Career

Uhre had played for Grindsted GIF and Skovlund IF as a child before joining the Sønderjyske youth academy . On March 28, 2013 he completed his first game in professional football in a 5-0 win in the away game against Silkeborg IF in the Superliga season 2012/13 . This season, Uhre made five appearances and finished eighth with SønderjyskE and tenth place in the table the next season.

In August 2014 Uhre switched to Skive IK on loan until the end of the year . After 13 games and three goals, he returned to SønderjyskE in January 2015, but did not appear in the second half of the 2014/15 season. In the summer of 2015, Uhre was awarded again to Skiv IK for a season and played 31 games (14 goals). In the 2015/16 season he was runner-up with SønderjyskE. In qualifying for the UEFA Europa League they were eliminated in the play-offs against Sparta Prague . In the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons , Uhre missed the renewed participation in the international competition with SønderjyskE.

For the 2018/19 season he will move to Brøndby IF . His contract runs until the end of 2022.

National team

On March 27, 2017, Uhre played his only game for the Danish U21 national team in the 4-0 defeat in Randers against England .
