Mike Kamboto Ratoveni Kavekotora (born October 10, 1956 in Ombazu , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP). On June 1, 2019, he was elected party leader of what was once the largest opposition party in the country. He was previously the party's general secretary .

Kavekotora went into the 2019 presidential election as a joint candidate of the RDP and Christian Democratic Voice Party (CDV) . Here he received 0.4 percent of the vote.

Kavekotora has been a member of the RDP in the National Assembly since 2015 . He holds an MA in Development Economics from Long Island University and a BSc in Accounting from Mercy College , both in New York .
