Mike Murdock
Michael Dean Murdock (born April 18, 1946 in Lake Charles , Louisiana , United States ) is an American entrepreneur , motivational speaker , author and television preacher .
Every week more than 12,000 people follow his lectures live on site as well as a further five million people worldwide via his television programs , which are broadcast in Germany by God TV and Daystar Television , among others .
He is married and has two children.

Mike Murdock is seen by many as a proponent of a prosperity gospel : It is God's will that people succeed in all areas of their lives. Murdock is also mentioned as a supporter of the Word of Faith Movement .
He is close friends with Benny Hinn , with whom he often performs joint appearances both on TV and at events.
