The Mikkelsen Bay is a bay with an area of 15 x 4.5 km on the north coast of the US state of Alaska between the Tigvariak Island in the west and Bullen Point in the east. It was named in 1909 by Ernest de Koven Leffingwell (1875–1971) after the Danish polar explorer Ejnar Mikkelsen , his partner in the Anglo-American Polar Expedition 1906–1908 .
