Mil (helicopter)
Mil ( Russian Миль ) is the short name of the Russian helicopter manufacturer Moscow Helicopter Factory M. L. Mil, founded in 1948 ( Russian Московский вертолетный завод им. М. Л. Миля ), named after the designer Mikhail Leontjewitsch Mil . The company, based in Tomilino near the Russian capital Moscow, is also known under the English name Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant .
