Mila Theren , actually Camilla Eugenia Goldschmidt , married Camilla Stoessel ( October 23, 1872 in Vienna - 1946 ) was an Austrian theater actress and soubrette .

Life

Theren was prepared for the stage career by Mrs. Emilie Dorr and Mrs. Niklas-Kempner, which she entered in Olomouc in 1892. Then she came to Constance (1893) and Sigmaringen. She went on hiking trips with the ensemble that took her to Kempten, Tübingen, Saargemünd Lindau, etc. In the latter city she saw Hans Neuert and initiated her engagement at the Gärtnerplatztheater (1895), where she achieved great success. In 1897 she came to the Thaliatheater in Berlin. In 1898 the young artist was committed to the Raimund Theater. At the end of May 1901 she left the Raimundtheater, where she had introduced herself as the successor to Antoinette Riese in an advantageous manner in order to fully turn to the operetta stage. From 1902 she was won for the Theater an der Wien .

In 1903 she married the physician Hiero M. Stoessel and withdrew from the stage.

She was the aunt of the writer Jean Améry .
