Milan Kerbr (born September 6, 1967 in Uherské Hradiště ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

Kerbr played in his youth for Jiskra Staré Město and Slovácká Slavia Uherské Hradiště . He did his military service with VTJ Tachov. He then played for Svit Zlín for two years .

In 1991 the attacker switched to Sigma Olomouc . In his first season he scored eleven goals in 27 games. In the following years he didn't manage to score as many goals, so it came as a surprise to many when he made two international matches in the run-up to the European Championship in 1996 and then slipped into the Czech EM squad . In England, however, Kerbr did not play a game and was not nominated for the Czech national team again.

1997 Kerbr was obliged by SpVgg Greuther Fürth, for which he made 40 games and scored five goals. In January 1999 he was loaned out to the then regional league team SC Weismain for six months . Kerbr then moved to SSV Reutlingen 05 . There he made only a few games and ended his career in 2002 after a protracted meniscus injury .

Since the beginning of 2009 he has been the coach of the regional division SpVgg Mössingen.

Others

Kerbr's son Milan Kerbr junior is also a professional footballer.
