Milan Stencel

Milan Stencel (* 1940 ) is a Luxembourg table tennis coach with Croatian roots.

Career

Milan Stencel comes from the former Yugoslavia. In 1965 he played for the GSD Grafiki Zagreb club, and later he went to the Netherlands for the Deltalloyd and Scylla clubs. In 1982 he became national coach of the Netherlands, later until 1992 national coach in Italy. He took citizenship of Luxembourg. In 1992 he was hired by the German Bundesliga club TTC Grenzau as the successor to the Romanian coach Emerich Terebeschi. He worked here until 1997, before the association left him.

He is currently the coach of the Luxembourg first division club Dësch Tennis Nidderkäerjeng.

Private

Milan Stencel worked as a chemical engineer in the Netherlands for several years. He speaks several languages ​​fluently, such as: B. Russian, German, English and French.
