Mixed milk product

A mixed milk product is a food whose ingredients consist of at least 70% dairy products and a maximum of 30% other foods.

Typical milk mix products are

  • Mixed milk drinks made from milk , for example cocoa drink or strawberry milk
  • Mixed milk beverages made from whey
  • Fruit yogurt and drinking yogurt
  • Fruit buttermilk
  • Fruit kefir

Typical additives and food additives are (roughly in descending order by volume fraction)

Ice cream and sauces made from milk are not milk mix products.

Mandatory information for ingredients

The QUID regulation ( Quantitative Ingredients Declaration , Directive 97/4 / EC of the European Community ) specifies when ingredients in food are to be labeled in terms of quantity. The proportion of ingredients that are mentioned in the product name ( sales name ) or shown on the packaging must be specified. So z.
