A dairy cattle facility is a stable for cattle . On January 3, 1969, the Agricultural Production Cooperative (LPG) in Dedelow near Prenzlau put the GDR's first dairy cattle facility into operation. The first systems with up to 2000 animals were built in the GDR LPGs in the 1970s, as industrial cattle production was increasingly being used. The systems largely exist to this day, mostly agricultural businesses that emerged from the LPG that operate these systems.
