Milena Nikolova (also written Milena Nikolova , Bulgarian Милена Николова ; born October 31, 1984 in Sliven ) is a Bulgarian writer .

Life

Nikolova attended the high school for foreign languages ​​in Sliven, where she learned English and German. In 2003 she was accepted at the University of National and World Economy Sofia and in 2008 she received her Bachelor's degree in "International Economic Relations". In the same year she enrolled at the New Bulgarian University . There she received her master's degree in "International Business" in 2009. In the same year she graduated from the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" in Sofia with diplomas in physiotherapy and spa therapy.

In 2011 she obtained her second master's degree in "English and methodology".

For eight years she was a member of the literature class of the United School of Arts "Misho Todorov" in Sliven, which was directed by the writer Evgenia Genova .

Services

It won twice the “Europe at School” competition (1999 and 2004) organized by the Council of Europe , the European Parliament , the European Commission and the European Cultural Foundation .

She won the silver medal at the 51st International Bar Bar Competition.

In addition, she received awards at other national literary competitions for poetry and fiction, including: "Art against Drugs", " Petya Dubarova ", " Dora Gabe ", "Vitoschko lale" ( Vitosha tulip ), "Iuschni slantsa" (Southern suns ), "My child's dreams", "We live on Botew's earth" and "The love without which we cannot exist".

In 2014 she was a member of the jury of the international poetry competition "Write, share, get read" and a member of the jury of the national Bulgarian poetry competition "The Christian family - the perfect way to love the other one ".

PoemTherapy

In May 2012 she founded the PoemTherapy blog on Facebook . It is a free, donated, online magazine for Bulgarian and international culture. Here she also publishes her own poems and poems by other Bulgarian and international authors.

In December 2014, in memory of Evgenia Genova, she organized the international poetry competition "If my heart is set on fire, the universe will get flooded into love" for the first time.
