Military Medicines Directorate
The Military Medicines Directorate was located in the 3rd district of Vienna, Landstrasse, at Rennweg 12.
In 1794 the military bought a private house to manufacture and store medicines for the military. In 1902 the Austro-Hungarian medical service expanded the building to include a laboratory building and a warehouse . The public medicinal products works took over the facility after the First World War . Around 1960 they ceased operations, whereupon the building was torn down and an office block was built.
