The 41 Baza Lotnictwa Szkolnego (41 training air base) is a military airfield of the Polish Air Force ( Siły powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej ). The base is located in the province of Lublin in Powiat Rycki (county Rycki) about three kilometers southeast of Dęblin . The airfield is the main base of the 4th Aviation Training Squadron.
Todays use
The 41st training air base is currently (2019):
- 4th Aviation Training Squadron ( 4th Skrzydło Lotnictwa Szkolnego ), consisting of the flying group with four flying squadrons, the 47th and 61st Eskadra Lotnicza (47 and 61 el), both equipped with Mi-2 and SW-4 , the 48 Eskadra Lotnicza (48 el) with M346 (since 2016) and the 58th Eskadra Lotnicza (58 el) with TS-11 . Then there are the technical and support groups and a maintenance company.
The following training facilities are also located on the site:
- Higher Officers School of the LSK ( Wyższa Szkoła Oficerska Sił Powietrznych )
- LSK NCO School ( Szkoła Podoficerska Sił Powietrznych )
- Aeronautical Training Center ( Centrum Szkolenia Inżynieryjno-Lotniczego )
