Millennium. Yearbook on culture and history of the first millennium AD is a historical specialist journal that is published by Verlag Walter de Gruyter and has been published annually since 2004.

The journal is explicitly interdisciplinary, supraregional and spanning epochs. Very different subject areas from antiquity , especially late antiquity , to the Middle Ages are taken into account . Not only historical, but also philosophical, theological and literary topics are dealt with. Often, several articles in the individual yearbooks deal with a specific focus topic. Most of the contributions are in German, but some are also in English, French and Italian. Book reviews are not held. The editors are currently Wolfram Brandes , Alexander Demandt , Helmut Krasser , Hartmut Leppin and Peter von Möllendorff .
