Peter von Möllendorff
Peter von Möllendorff (born April 5, 1963 in Zurich ) is a German classical philologist .
Peter von Möllendorff studied Classical Philology and Romance Studies at the Universities of Cologne , Freiburg and Munich . There he passed his state examination in 1989 and 1990. After receiving his doctorate in 1994 and his habilitation in 1998/1999, he represented the chair for classical philology at the University of Heidelberg from 2001 to 2002 . In March 2003 he accepted a professorship for Classical Philology / Greek Philology at the University of Giessen .
His main areas of work are Greek drama and imperial literature.
